BrillianceMonitor LCD con webcam e MultiView

Re Philips Brilliance 272C 27" 2560x1440 16:9 fine matt PLS monitor. MOST IMPORTANTLY:- the image quality is breathtakingly excellent. Sitting next to my very good 5yo Philips 23" 1920x1080 16:9 234EL screen the leap in size & image quality jumps out at you throughout the 178x178 viewing angle . Build quality is great and the subtle fine black satin finish on the bezel exudes style. Connections 2x HDMI (1 high quality cable supplied) + DVI-D (1 solid cable supplied) + Display Port allow for easy multi-machine links & switching between sources by the touch menu on the bezel is a doddle. The provided desk stand is a solid, balanced & stable base - no danger of "knocking" it over - and provides forward & backwards tilt. Though it has no height adjustment it is just right for me on my desk - and it has a VESA 100 plate, for mounting on an "arm" etc., if you have a need; anyway a monitor riser block is just as easy if desperate. It works with Windows 10, although the software "updates" only go to Windows 7 - I haven't checked out the built in WebCam & mic yet (USB & sound cable links provided). It works great, at full 2560x1440 resolution, with my Compulab IPC2 i5 fanless running Linux Mint (Cinamon, xfce & KDE) . My 6yo Samsung SF310 laptop will only run it at 1920x1200 max (Windows 10 & Linux Mint) - this is an issue with the laptop, not the monitor, and the picture is still great at this resolution . The auto-switch monitor sensor system that checks someone is still near the screen (& shuts display off if not) works as it should, giving an instant return of the picture when one moves back in range, without fuss - the range is adjustable via the touch menu. The menu system itself is clear & works well. It has speakers - ok'ish - not Hi-Fi ;-)) but this is a monitor and I do realise adding Hi-Fi quality speakers just adds to the price; I run it through my sound system & speakers, far better. It also has a good, front accessible, headphone socket. All in all I am very, very, pleased with this monitor. NB This particular model has, I think, been replaced by updated models - which helps to explain the low price that makes this monitor such a bargain at the moment. On it's present performance it is a monitor that I can unreservedly recommend, and the longevity of my first Philips monitor bodes well for it's long term performance.

Hervorragende Wiedergabe der Farben und Schärfe bei Schriften.

Ich habe lange mit mir gerungen, welcher Monitor für meinen Mac Mini Server Late 2012 nun geeignet wäre. Ich habe den perfekten Kompromiss aus Preis und Leistung gesucht, fest stand, das es ein Quad HD IPS Display werden sollte. Ich war erst skeptisch, da ich von Philips noch nie etwas besessen habe und daher nicht viel über die Qualität dieses Herstellers wusste. Positiv überrascht war ich vom Angebot der mitgelieferten Kabel, wirklich alles dabei was man sich wünschen kann, bloß Mini DP auf DP Kabel nicht, welches allerdings auch recht exotisch ist und sicher nicht allzu häufig gebraucht wird (ausser für den Mac Mini, da dieser bloß Mini DP hat). Nachdem ich den Monitor online erworben hatte, kam der zweite positive Eindruck in Form von null (0!!) Pixelfehlern. Obwohl, der zweite positive Eindruck stellte sich direkt nach dem ersten Einschalten ein, als dieses sagenhaft detailreiche Bild einen das erste mal anstrahlt. Die integrierte Webcam wurde sofort tadellos erkannt, auch die eingebauten Speaker taten auf Anhieb Ihren Dienst. Apropos Speaker, die sind auch der einzig negative Aspekt, den ich hier anbringen kann, die taugen wirklich gar nicht. Ich war erst skeptisch, ob ein mattes Display mit dem Kontrast und der Lebendigkeit der Glossy Displays mithalten kann. Ich muss sagen JA!! kann es. Und mehr, ich bin so froh, diesmal kein Glosse Display gekauft zu haben (ich habe ein Fenster genau im Rücken vom Schreibtisch und es stört mich gar nicht mehr). Der Monitor wirkt durch die Touchflächen am unteren rechten Rand auch recht Edel. Fazit: Wer einen Monitor für den Mac Mini sucht und den Schritt zu einem Dritthersteller Display wagt, wird hier auf jeden Fall glücklich. Ich werde jedenfalls diesen Monitor im Bekanntenkreis weiterempfehlen.

wat erg tegenvalt is dat je de monitor zelf nog moet calibreren staat auto op hoogste resolutie dus als je hem aanzet kun je zo goed als niets lezen met een videokaart die deze resolutie nog niet aankan, laat staan dat je dan de resolutie wat terug kunt zetten, bijv zoals in mijn geval 1900x1200

Le son qui sort de l'écran ressemble au son qu'on entend quand une personne située à coté de vous écoute son walkman à fond. C'est un son hyper aigu. (autre comparaison: le son de votre téléphone fixe est meilleur. J'ai un philips CD 565). Bref, le son est vraiement très mauvais. Je ne recommande donc pas cet écran, meme pour ceux qui regarde une fois de temps en temps une vidéo sur youtube: le son est vraiement trop mauvais ! Il a beau etre faible, il fait mal aux oreilles dès les premières secondes ! Impossible d'écouter un squetch et encore moins une musique. Le service client est agréable mais il faut appelé un numéro payant 0821 => Je déconseil donc l'achat de cet écran.

Ik heb 2 van deze monitoren gekocht en in duo opstelling staan. Beeldkwaliteit is goed maar geluidskwaliteit is slecht. Na een half jaar begin ik te denken om toch maar 2 losse speakers aan te schaffen. Geluid voor spraak is goed maar voor muziek is die belabberd. De tekst en knopjes aan de voorzijde zijn niet zichtbaar en het is telkens een gok om een instelling te wijzigen
